About Christopher Philip John

Christopher Philip John is a Malaysian astrologer, and is the Chief Editor of the Malaysian Astrological Society’s magazine, Astrological Perspectives. He is also an academic at a Malaysian university. His interest in the stars goes back to his student days in the USA when he saw hundreds of stars, including shooting stars, in the crystal clear night skies over the deserts of Arizona. When he returned to Malaysia, he was involved in the Malaysian East Asian Satellite (MEASAT) project. He later turned his gaze to Vedic astrology. He has a Jyothisha Ratna from the Malaysian Astrological Society, of which he is a member. He has a natural interest in mythology and history, and has used his knowledge of the stars to uncover the deeper meanings behind the myths. His other interests lie in mundane astrology and in natal astrology.
