The Forbidden Book Club

Unearth the unexplained, the unknown and the unthinkable…

EP01 ‘The Adam and Eve Story’ by Chan Thomas

Classified by the CIA in the 1960s, this incredibly rare book tells of Earth’s cataclysmic history: massive earthquakes, murderous floods, death (at an unimaginable scale) and perhaps the date of our impending doomsday…
Written by Chauncey Powers Thomas, an eminent scientist who worked on secret anti-gravity technologies and UFO-inspired research for the US Government, what is the true history of this remarkable book and what can we learn from its truly shocking conclusions…?

David Thrussell is a poet trapped in the body of a hillbilly. Or a hopeless romantic hidden in the twisted frame of a dark electronic musician. Late at night Thrussell fantasises that actually he lives next door to Hieronymous Bosch in Medieval Europe and has hallucinated the whole dreadful modern era while suffering from acute ergot poisoning. We are not entirely convinced that this is not the case. The world knows him (if it knows him at all), as the creator of a seeming multitude of obscure recordings (Snog, Black Lung and Soma among others) and film scores. He has written previously for Wax Poetics, Fortean Times and numerous other publications. Listen to book reviews and commentary by Thrussell here: youtube.com/@TheForbiddenBookClub. The 30th Anniversary Remastered Edition of Snog's Lies Inc. has just been released, see lightarmoureditions.bandcamp.com/album/lies-inc-30th-anniversary-remastered-edition

I appreciate all that you do to open the eyes and ears to make a difference

This is a great idea for a series.

Most people do not read declassified literature. Most people are probably not aware of what literature has been classified and subsequently declassified, so this should really help broaden awareness.

There’s a LOT more of interest in Chan Thomas’s book than what this video covered.
-This book gives very interesting information that pertains to lost civilizations, especially when you research Thomas’s sources.
-His linguistic connection between the Naga and Mayan glyph languages is key to seeing through a LOT of bogus history.
-It also gives us insights into the prevalence of the serpent symbolism Graham finds at so many sites of archaeological significance.

Thomas does fail, however, in his interpretation of the title piece itself: the Adam and Eve story.
His error derives from his (I assume) ignorance in the various religious traditions. He kind of sticks to just Christianity, Judaism, Egypt, and the Nagas. He studied so much, I can’t fault him for not finding the root source of the serpent’s significance.

Furthermore, new information has come to light since Thomas published these books that offers further insights into the Adam and Eve story. Suffice to say, anyone who believes that the serpent in Genesis 3 is different from the serpent in Matthew 10:16 doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

Graham is right, too, about psychedelics. One psychedelic in particular is important for understanding a number of things from various religious traditions, including the serpent.

Also, I’m pretty sure I have answers on how many megaliths were made too. Not all, but at least some, and this is backed by “do it yourself” home science.

I have been in contact with Graham’s kids regarding my work. I’m currently writing a book to explain it but I have a lot of research left to do to flesh out my chapter list and a lot more writing and editing to do after that.

I’d love to chat with David, Graham, Graham’s kids…honestly with anyone who is interested in understanding scientifically viable, mythologically/religiously consistent answers to the very questions that drive Graham’s work.

Best regards and thank you for your work.

Thank you David and Graham. I’m sure you are by now well aware of the recent exothermic core-mantle decoupling hypothesis put forward by @EthicalSkeptic – whilst it differs from the previous work of Laplace, Hapgood, Thomas, Velikovsky and White in several aspects, it strongly confirms that they were all looking in the right general direction in their investigations, and brings considerable new evidence to bear.

I have heard the idea that atlanteans had free power, that the pyramids and monoliths could have been power generators using the planets electricity. The same ambient power Tesla was working on tapping when he died. If an entire world had developed the ability to utilize the planets free power what if they used too much?

      Or not enough?

I saw on the WhyFiles that this was debunked, however, he couldn’t do a very good job of debunking it as I don’t think he had this information available to him. Wow! See you in Sedona next April, Graham. I have a couple of books for you to sign if you don’t mind the inconvenience.

AI says : Chan Thomas was an American author and researcher known for his work on cataclysmic events and their impact on human civilization. He is most notable for his book “The Adam and Eve Story,” published in 1963, which presents his theories about the cyclical nature of cataclysms and how they have shaped the Earth’s history and human development. Thomas suggested that significant geological and climatic changes could lead to widespread destruction and the reset of civilization.

His theories have been met with both interest and skepticism, and while some of his ideas have been discussed in the context of geological and climatic research, they are not widely accepted in mainstream science. If you’re interested in exploring more about his theories or related topics, feel free to ask!
