I was at a beautiful Temple here in Japan yesterday, and out of nowhere I started singing "another one bites the dust" loudly and repeatedly for a minute or two. Aware that synchronicity has been striking often and rather profoundly recently, I decided I should be very careful not to trip and fall. A minute later an old man at the top of some steps to go into a temple tripped and fell

Perhaps, but this is a very anthropomorphised understanding of the universe and it's use of synchronicity. Maybe synchronicity clusters are the celebration of the universe, but quite probably they're something different. But what?

123. Clusters
Thanks Daniel. Indeed, I believe synchronicity is one of the important keys to a consciousness transformation, which is why I'm making a film about it. About synchronicity clusters - I've noticed that I get reasonably regular synchronicity occurring in my life, but at times I get massive clusters of them where I'm getting several huge ones every day for a couple of weeks. Have you experienced

My experience has been that synchronicity starts crackling around you when you're on the right path, or acting with your instincts, but is conspicuously absent when you're not. So rather than it guiding us to the right path, it seems to confirm when we've stumbled across it in hope that you'll take notice and follow the yellow brick road. Though perhaps synchronicity is always there, but awar

Hi Daniel, thanks. Yes, the bridge concept makes sense. In Breaking Open the Head (great book by the way) you said in shamanic cultures, synchronicity is seen as confirmation of being on the right path. Do you agree with that? If so, would you say synchronicity is something like a guiding voice of the universe? If so, can following it be used to make our lives better? If so, could it perhap

126. Attention
I'm actually making a film about synchronicity right now, and am getting deeply involved in the phenomenon. Certainly I've noticed that it happens more when we give it more attention and focus, but I'm also of the belief that it happens more when we're on our own right path. When we're acting against our intuition and not doing what we know we should be, it seems to shut off, and when we are do

Hi Daniel, welcome. I've got lots of questions for you relating to synchronicity, but to start: What have your shamanic investigations and adventures taught you about synchronicity? What is it? What does it mean? Luke

Hi Gary Not sure what that's about, but I've not heard of anyone else having problems with it. Best thing to do is get your friend to mail me, and I'll set up an account for him. lukehancock@gmail.com Luke

Nice essay, but do you not think they meant that the Blue Star would be seen by all, rather than through telescope technology?

Hi Gary Do the Hopi speak of synchronicity at all? Is it something understood and experienced in their culture, and if so, what do they make of it?

Many cultures and people are pointing to something "soon", but what do the Hopi envision in the transition to the 5th world? Destruction? A collective waking up or enlightenment? How do they say the 5th world will differ from the 4th? Thanks Luke

If Sun can and does think, what does it think? Obviously human intelligence and celestial body intelligence probably cannot find common ground, but i wonder if there is any scripture anywhere in time or space that refers to the type of feelings or thoughts the sun experiences? If it is sentient, then it is thought it experiences, right?

135. Re: K'in
Hi Greg Finally got a chance to look at your book and am very impressed. Lots of good thoughts to intake and ponder, looking forward to getting deeper into it. Very good stuff! As for the K'in meditation - I think the variable might have been the solstice. I'll give it a try next solstice and see what happens. Also though since that happened I was kind of expecting it the next time, which p

136. K'in
Hi Greg, Thanks for the thoughts and your presence here this month. Welcome! I was once told about this ancient Mayan sun meditation where one does 7 "K'in"s, in the same way people chant long "Aum" sounds, while rubbing hands together and trying to commune with the sun and receive it's energy. I forgot about it until one extremely cold winter solstice in Kyoto, where my f

I've heard people talk about this before - that parts of the Earth align with its chakras. Where does this information come from? How do we know that any point in the earth aligns with one of its chakra? And where does it come from, the idea that the Earth has 7 main chakras, like the human body?

Hi Patrick Some talk about this December 2012 business as if it is the significant moment where all the crazy things that people are expecting suddenly happen. Others talk about 2012 as a general focus point, and would say that this shift that 2012 represents is already happening, and we're just in the early stages of it, where December 2012 is not a specifically important date in itself. How

Legion, Please don't model yourself on this guy. The AOM guest does not have to respond to every post, and he leads a busy life off the boards, just like everybody else, and does not deserve to be demeaned because he has not promptly responded to your question. Please treat everyone respectfully - especially AOM guests. Thanks, Luke

Hi Deep Indeed, good points. In my personal experience, small infections can quickly and easily be treated with raw garlic, which stores well, and can be grown easily. I've not taken anti-biotics since I discovered this. Any serious problems are beyond the scope of garlic, but plant medicines have been around since the dawn of history, and if one learns how to use them expertly, then illness

Hey Patrick OK, so let's say you're right, and we've got imminent cataclysm facing us; huge destruction and possibly almost total extinction of the human race. What do we do about it? What are you doing about it? Getting a place on the highest mountain with a food and water source? Any other suggestions? Spiritual preparation? Is there any form of preparation that you would advise an indiv

In reply to this post: Hi Slawek - sorry for the delay. OK first thankyou for your interesting perspectives. I agree with and understand what you're saying, and your comments have changed the way I'm thinking and approaching this situation. But, for the sake of reaching higher understanding, I want to play devil's advocate. First of all, the Elohim I've been in communication with said

Hi Deep I agree with all this in principle. But just the other day I saw this documentary: Carlos Castaneda And The Shaman. Tales From The Jungle, which left me with a bad feeling about him. Not sure what to think, as we all know how TV programs (especially BBC) can manipulate a reputation destroying story out of nothing. Hmmm....
