Why can't scientists believe in souls and eternal life? Lots of them do. You have a bee in the bonnet about it! GG. I suppose that rest in peace is a quite good saying, whatever you believe, and however nice or nasty the departed person has been! What else can you say? When I am thinking "have fun" now that you can go through walls and listen to what everyone is saying, that is probably not the right thing to say while the family is grieving. So, the standard rest in piece should be ok with everyo

I don't use Facebook or Twitter and other options, so I post when I feel like saying something. I also sometimes email my son, and he me. Most of my friends are dead from old age and associated problems. You guys are my friends now. GG.

But why say something garbled? I don't think either that resting in peace might be the norm. Of course I don't know, but from all the reading I have done on the subject of death, we do have a chance of a good rest until we are ready to live a life in a different sort of body and have a lot of fun. I hope that is what is in store for me. NOT YET! I am still needed a bit. GG. drrayeye Wr

It is probably meant that he will sleep until judgement day, then rise up as a sort of saint because he has been a good bloke. That is not my belief! I have not known too much about him, but have now read what is in the news, and it does look like he has been nice and very supportive of his wife. He died at home in his castle , which is a lot better than in a hospital, as I am sure he had

Telepathy? Between the girl and the young man? Not as likely as what is called clairvoyance, clear seeing. Why everybody has to complicate it when it is very simple! Nobody, police or aboriginal tracker or a whole lot of others could find her or her dog. Then a young man has a dream of where to find her, and bingo, he led them to her. GG. From what I read she did not make any sounds (because of her autism). Nothing about what the dog did. My personal opinion is that some spirit power arranged it all so she could be found. The family probably prayed about it too. If prayers are heard and fulfilled we don't have to worry about the ins and outs of it. If you like to speculate that is fine. It sounded from the article as if she

A good thing for the girl and her family that they did not have to take your advice! There are many cases where police has made good use of psychic advice, but alas also many where it was ignored. There are also crackpots who are not genuine. The police certainly did everything they could, but they did not find the girl. Being aboriginals, I am sure the family knew better and they took the dre

Never mind scientific research in this case. The family let the young man with the dream find her. Here is what I read, some of it, everybody can read it: Ms Kenny said her search group walked across the arid region for up to six hours, with desert temperatures reaching above 30 degrees. "It started getting to me because I ran out of water … and I started getting dry lips,"

It seems he was the only one who had the proper idea where she could be. The police and a lot of others had all done their best, but if the aboriginal family had not taken this young man's dream seriously, the girl would have been dead by now and maybe never found. Where ever his dream came from, it was taken seriously and the family and others walked and walked in the scorching heat, lead by the

Helicopters, drones did not find her. 50 to 70 people out looking. The aboriginal family told police they should search further afield. But it was a young man who dreamed exactly where she was who led a team straight to her. Wonderful happy ending. Read the story! GG. Family members say it was their determined efforts and local knowledge that helped them track down a four-year-old girl w

I guess that bacteria and we are all connected to the cosmic consciousness, God. There are good bacteria and bad ones, as far as we think, but what is a lion? It depends on what it attacks and eats for dinner. What are we to all the cattle and sheep to be slaughtered? To the millions of chickens? For a while we might seem good if we feed them all ok and give them a reasonable, safe invironme

Maybe we only believe we are listening to a radio! Susan, when you are listening to a radio what is your interpretation of it? Could it simply be a rooster crowing, but you interpret it as human speech? Maybe you are capable of such tricks, but I am not. I know what is what. GG. It is interesting that we can make use of all the material things we have in our lives, living on this lovely planet. Yet, as Planck and Einstein said it, there is no matter, yet we use it all the time!!! The Indian religion has what they call Maya, which is a lie, a deception or a game, which is our lives on earth. It fits beautifully with consciousness being the real "thing", all t

I discussed it with my son yesterday and he also reckons that truth is a hard subject. He has a bachelor science degree and likes to think. Now it is nearly Easter, the Christian one, and was it not Pilate who said to Jesus "What is truth"? I think it was. Could look it up, but too tired. Too many jobs to do today. GG. You have often said that I believe things have happened, which to me is similar to imagine, I don't want to split hair. You just don't think I know myself, do you? Yet you sometimes call me down to earth. I can't see why progressive scientists should not be interested in the paranormal just because you, Susan hate the idea of it. GG. Our present day scientists have the best way of trying to prove theories, but the majority are scared of the psychic, as people like you, in the shape of important figures with funds don't believe in the paranormal, so most scientists like to get funds to earn a good living, and thus avoid anything psychic. They don't like to be ridiculed either. People like me who have nothing to do with scie

While walking the dogs I remembered all those invisible rays and vibrations or whatever they are called. What was discovered first, X rays or radio waves? These days so many invisible things keep us going, and they even work fine when sending spacecrafts out. Amazing that we can do that. I can't of course! I don't know anything about all these rays, but trust them to be true, or they would not w

Quoting Susan: If your truth claim can be tested via the scientific method, then you can come very close indeed to being sure that it is true - or not, of course. Xxxxxxxx Science changes all the time, so it cannot really be a measure for truth. Is there something that is really true? All living things will die, their flesh will die and change. But the question about what life and consc

For some who have certain allergies ice cream could be bad. One down. The sun is hot. That comes close. At the poles it probably only feels a little bit warm, but I do think most people agree to the sun being hot, and the scientists know how hot. Animals know the sun is hot/warm too. My dogs like to lie in it just like cats do. Ice cream is cold. Sometimes too cold, so you can't scoop it ou

It was Galileo, and the leaning tower of Pisa was involved according to legend at least. But where are the true truths? Einstein has put a twist on gravity, however generally it is true that what goes up must come down. Not the spacecrafts that go on forever outside earth. Or if an eagle catches something you throw high up. I have given two truths, about the volatile liquids and the beer

Susan, you gave an example like I did. Who was it who found out all things falls with the same speed? Feathers and paper too, except for their shape and air support. Quickly Google gravity! There must be something else we can all agree must be true. I have in my head a naughty Danish rhyme from Jutland about one thing is for sure if you have drunk beer you have to go and pee. I never hear

That is a good example. I think there is also this about a native tribe who have always lived in the jungle with trees. When some of them gets to an open plain and sees people in the distance they think what small persons! But can you think of something we all can agree must be true? GG.
