And for heaven's sake put some clothes finally on your Emperor ! You're being somewhat rude Don, but were i'm heading is to Mount Hermon, 33 degrees latitude and 33 degrees longitude of the Paris Meridian. From our research, we gather that all or most of the High Degrees in the Emperors of the East and West were created at the same time. Later, they were revised and added to, and we get the

It actually shows Saint John with an Eagle and scroll as he represented the planet Mercury, the Egyptians had a God holding scroll to represent Mercury and the symbolism is quite common. Morph.

I once took a train for Carcassone and overslept, therefore ending up at the end of the line at Lourdes, from thence i decided to make for Perpignan because i liked the sound of the name, but walking and catching rides this proved somewhat difficult, and i ended up on a labrynthine journey around the sub-division of Aude for the best part of a month passing through many small villages and sleepin

Am i 'catching the drift'...???...not really, merely observing it. How's the salt mine theory going. Still think the Rennes les Bains GORGE is the centre of the astronomical observations? It's a gorgeous place, and there is certainly an astronomical amount of observation taken place there. Mein salt itheory s going well and slowly flowing toward the Dead Sea.

Whereupon it is revealed that Rennes-les-Chateau has mysteriously dissapeared, thus proving conclusively that this must also be connected to the dissapearing brushstrokes, some suspect Thumbelina, i personally suspect the ghost in the machine... Morph.

It looks more like an adjusment of the artist, a discarded portion rather than anything to due with cleaning, the area to the left is a completely differant hue and contains no clouds, whereas the top discarded section contains clouds from the primary coats. The right side is in accordance, yet the left shows definite signs of redetermining that the sky should be clear there, only the tops of th

It might be more useful if you could provide a single quote yourself rather than suggesting one should study the entire literary corpus of Anthony Blunt (deceased) to dispute you're using him as a facade for your own fancies... Morph.

And what does the deferred Higher Source actually say as regards your theory (as i understand it...) that, Poussin paintings never show brushmarks in the sky. Poussin used his thumb to obscure any such brushmarks. Poussin would have been interested in doing so for reasons of style. Morph.

You're saying artists didn't use soft brushes to achieve smooth finish but rather their thumbs...!!!...unbelievable. Some of the finer techniques such as those devised by the Flemish were only intended to give finer surface finish to flesh and achieve realism in naturalistic rendition of still life, there's never been any concern about a particularly smooth rendering of the sky. Poussin could

If he'd pressed down with his thumb he'd have left big thumb prints which are more of an eyesight than brush-strokes. At that time flesh in particular was finished with a quite large but very soft brush to smooth the finish, those following on from Poussin such as Ingres and David being noteworthy exponents of this. The reaction against this only came at the time leading into Impressionism, whe

Obviously, I would disagree. Though Freemasonry was in part a product of the Enlightenment, it was never designed to overthrow monarchies etc. It is quite clear from Anderson's Constituitions that this is not part of Freemasonry. What Freemasonry did was to stand up for freedom and individual rights and provided a safe forum where men of all religions and politics could safely discuss the issues

Yes the short lived American movement is worth looking at. It's concerns appear to have been with corrupt favouritism at the local level, to the disadvantage of the non-Mason, in some regard an example of the concern of Americans for rights and equality, as promised under their Masonic constitution...thus not really a challenge to Masonry at all. The event created great excitement and led m

The only serious opposition Freemasonry has faced has been from the Nationalist Parties of Italy and Germany, the worse thing that could happen for British Freemasons is the rise of British Nationalism and the rejection of supra-Nationalism. The intent of the present work is to deal with the principal problems of Freemasonry in a concise manner. It makes no claim to completeness; rather, it in
