to keep people in line of course! no seriously, i believe it answers questions for some who feel that those questions are unanswerable. For others it is a crutch. the world is a scary place, some feel better believing there's a controller of sorts?

This is great. I do perhaps think at some point people were safer underground for whatever reason, perhaps a way to make that happen where caves were not present? Great idea

Thanks Pete, looks interesting. Never heard of him before so i should be a good audience. Although, now that i started watching ive done a little googling, i see why the hate is out there. But will give this a good listen. very interesting ETA: i will still watch all of this, but after reading a little more, this guy seems to be quite controversial.

yes, i still to this day can't read any of our great dr's topics. all he does is condescend and belittle anyone who disagrees. Especially about religion and his god. but if thats what he needs to validate himself, fine by me. atheism a cult..for christ sakes

those would not be good times Archaic. Should spark some thought in people, but i see our resident professor could only take another shot at canada and firemen. How does this disqualify you from EVERYTHING? Has he ever made a reply without canada or firemen in it to you? ridiculous

never got to see Jerry, but a big fan. i have many shows. not schooled enough to pick an era, but i do enjoy shows from 72, 74, 77 Definitely one of my first if i could pick any band to see live that is now impossible. Marley would be there too

nice read thanks. Ive always been partial to the "magic bag" theory. People stored liquids in small bags, even some made out of animal skins. These would have enzymes and natural yeast to breakdown sugars to alcohol. The first people would have thought it to be some sort of magical bag for sure, most things you store over time would alter to have this effect on you. I also believ

im always here, and i have my opinions but whats the point. its just all fighting anymore. and no, i don't always agree with any given party, as should be expected i would think. I just wish facts were facts. so much fighting over biased interpretations, how do we fix it? We're just a terrible race i guess :)

i can't really find a spot for this, but since you are speaking about Clovis its as good as any. Thought it may be of interest to some here. There is an archaeological site by Hartville, WY, an old mining site called Sunrise. We went on a tour over the summer, expecting it to be about Sunrise as a town and their mining between the 1880's and 1980's. However, we were pleasantly surprised tha

I certainly would be sad to see GV go, or some it’s members even. Just can’t believe everyone is so hostile around here. Like it or not we’re all in this together. ETA I guess after my last comment I can’t say sad to see peeps go, but come on everyone....where’s the debate and information, this is just name calling and hate

wow...i still try to keep up with the forums but man is it ever getting difficult. (strikethrough man in case i get accused of hating women for some reason. in the last two topics ive read ive heard people refer to others as idiots, dummmies, chauvinist, bottom feeding scum and loudmouth redneck pig. real pleasant. personally i wish the mods would clean this up and boot all of you off, m

agreed, thanks Jason. Unfortunate there hasn't been more discussions. I grew up about 20 min away from the mounds in Moundsville, WV. I learned more from your article than i did over the 20 years or so i spent growing up there. Not a whole lot of admiration of the mounds there it would seem. Just something people dont question or even consider it would seem for some reason??

Hey Clovis. Im in Colorado also and have been fascinated by Finn's treasure. Not enough to go out and look, but as much as any other good treasure story! Do you believe this to be tied to Finn's treasure? Wasn't clear to me if you think the treasure is in this area (was Finn aware then?) or if you just found this searching randomly for the treasure. Either way, very interesting. I certainly

just like the vegas incident though, wouldn't it be nice to get inside the head of this guy and figure out why he did these things? To me this whole guns make it easier argument is beside the point. It's just like the drug war. its not a criminal problem, its a public health issue. unless you get to the root of the problem...there will always be ways to harm people in numbers.

i find it all very interesting Deep, nice work. The only item i'm not sure about is "a. It will wipe out the underground economy, from drug cartels to corruption. What good is unreported money if you can’t spend it? You could be sitting on piles of cash, but cannot do anything with it without paying tax. The drug lords will retire, so will the real-estate barons, and the estate-tax deni

Hey Loki. I have no problem with mods having viewpoints...how could anyone not. and we're all here to share in our viewpoints. This place is just so toxic and the two comments you made basically say the right are nazi's and mentally ill. you could have made your point known without these judgements IMO. uncalled for and does nothing for this site. not a tantrum and i really don't care believe

loki, why do you post these things when you know it will just rile up certain folks? it feels intentional, and not what i hear stated over and over here about self control when posting. and you're a mod? "The good news for Trump is that support remains strong among adolescent anime Nazis and in tinfoil hat land" "A lot of American conservatives are not mentally ill" o
