Yub, that's true - guess you would need more muscle to handle more gravity ...ah-well, now I can let that thought go :)

Hi GodSpeed, Nice one ...always like to see/read something like this - thanks for the link. Maybe this could answer a little question I've had in the back of my mind for so many years. Would a smaller Earth have less gravity than what we have today? I've always wondered why the dinosaurs got so big - was the gravity less back then - hence - the oversize? Greetings, ingi

Yub, did that. Well, it showed all sides. I actually expected more depth to the conspiracy part, because of the title of the show. Something most surly smells fishy about 9/11, but how far the 'spiracy goes is something I think I'll check in the history books in my next reincarnation along with JFK ;)

Hi Bent. Thanks :) I’m one of those notorious lurkers on this forum. I’ve been surfing in, almost daily, since way-back in 1999 but I’m more of a person that likes to read “interesting” stuff than take part. My mind is just too much of a butterfly to sink myself into things. Now and then I do though break out of my lurking mode when I&#8217

I see... I know this feeling all too good, for this is who I used to be. It makes you feel so helpless, thinking like that. It’s like operation “Change the World” fell on your watch – and you bloody well should do something about it!! My feeling is that everything is as it should be, would be, can be – because it’s all an experience &

Hi there! I just heard something about The Salzburg Cube - a metal artifact found in a coalmine in Austria in 1885 - It was found in a layer of coal dating back 50-70 million years. It was placed in a museum in Salzburg but was lost with all research information in 1937. Does anyone know more about this or know where I could find more info online? Greetings, Ingi

Thanks, MR. :-) Nice to see your name here after all this time. I used to take part here some years ago when some nutter was loose here. Can't remember the name he used. It's always great to drop by for a read :) Keep up the good work. Greetings, Ingi

Hi there! Some time ago I found a link here to a Star Chart software that Robert and Graham used in on of their Discovery Channel programs. You could give a location, time and date anywhere on the globe and see the stars as they appeared at that time. It's been some years since I followed that link and I've totally forgotten the name of that software. Does anyone remember the name/link? Hope yo

Roger that, Will! I’m Icelandic, like Ole pointed out. I’m no expert in any of the topics here, just someone that has read few of GH books and found them interesting. I’m what you might call an info-leech. I like to take in info and store it :) I’ve been a lurker here for few months with occasional post now and then, but mostly replies :) I have the feeling you’re in the army, am I right? I’m o

Paper!? I’m sure “they” were digital, man! :) Can you imagine how much of info will be left in 10.thousand years from “us”… As a cartoonist I’ve often played with the idea of etching one of my comics into stainless steel or rock, just for the heck of it and then dig a hole, put it in and cover it up – for future exca

Hi! (lurker here) Great topic – looking forward to get cosy later and dig into this. I’m one of those phobic to math :) but have been thinking alot lately about tone and the use of tone in meditation after I tried chanting “Nam Yhoho Renge Kyo” with Buddhist friends. Somehow music and sound has been on my mind lately in relation to “bigger thing” so it’s great to see you post here. Thanks – l

Hi there! I just read something about The Salzburg Cube that was found in a coalmine in Austria in 1885 in 50-70 million years old coal layer. The Cube was examined by experts but mysteriously disappeared with all data in 1937 from the museum in Salzburg were it was kept. -...naaah! I think Akane has a point that has not been addressed here!? ...and on the humorous side: Why don't these mystical guys shave? How come they all (seam to) have beards? I, for one, totally freak out after few days, without shaving... :) Greetz, Ingi Ps..... maybe I should let it grow..........and then............. tell you all the secrets... :)

...most likely because 'who's looking at the sky during the day?' :) Don't know about you, but I always take a look at the stars ....if the clouds don't block the view ....so maybe that's why?! I just came in now and as I got out of my car I took a good look upwards. It's just no fun to look at the blue sky......and I also work during the day :) Greetz, Ingi

144. Hi Paul!
Hi, Paul! Yes, as far as I know, the Icelandic horse is the only one to do the tölt (correct sp). But then I don't know about those in Mongolia but they sure look the same! But, then I'm really no horseman, as a matter of a fact; I hate the smell so I stay away from them :) Those high cheekbones are really something to take a closer look at. So far I haven't been able to find anything on that.

I heard, this morning (9:00 GMT), that the Taliban were going to let her go! But I haven't heard anything since then. Do you know if this is the same person that made the TV program about the status of women in Afghanistan? Ingi

148. IS-Land?
Hi all! This may be a little far fetched, but I read few years ago a book by an Icelandic philosopher (he spent much time in India and Egypt in his lifetime) that the name of Iceland (in Icelandic, Island) could actually mean the land of god, IS-Land and have nothing to do with Ice (Ice=Is). The story says that Hrafnafloki (on of the first settlers) came to Iceland in the wintertime and gave it

The cross is a powerfull symbol for the western world …and I go as far to say, no matter your faith! Just like any other symbol it tells a story without words, bound with feelings. Asking, “where was god” is asking god to be one of us, is asking from a personal point of view. As far as I see it “god” is not, just some guy/gall/thingy with a lot of power, as “we” tend to see him/her/it with perso
