Thanks for the replies (Amy also who e-mailed one) The future, Time & Intention... I just watched the movie Down the Rabbid Hole (What the Bleep Do We Know?) There they talk about the fact that the brain gets ready to move our limbs before we seem to take mental action to move them? What’s the deal with that? Does it sense the future before ‘we’ do? It&#

Hi there, Since that day I woke up out of my ‘Spyplane dream’ I’ve been thinking a lot about ‘The Now’ - this moment we seem to experience our live in. During this time I have had 2 déja-vu moments that have got me thinking. Is déja-vu a momentary distortion of ‘The Now’ implemented by some cosmic particle going through that

Good thinking, Richard. Of course it will be equipped with an elastic-time-reverser that when turned off would snap back to our ‘now’, it goes with out saying ;-)

Hi all, I often wake up, still evolved in my dreams – It’s like my dreams continue for few seconds after I wake up - like they play out.. This morning I woke up understanding how the ultimate spy plane of the Sci-Fi future would operate :) How? - It flies in the future. Not few days or so – just a fraction of a second from ‘The Now’. If we are

It’s just some reflection. If you take a look at the video and fast-forward through it – you see that the “object” moves with the shadows/sunlight and moves in a given pattern. …my money is on a side mirror on a Triumph motorbike :)

Hi there, I'm late to answer - but do it anyway :) During a winter evening in 1979, ice-skating at the time, I saw a "big" bright, multicolored fireball in the sky that looked like fireworks but lasted way to long to be one. Later that week the same thing was reported from different locations in my country (Iceland). There were no explanations given, though most people say that

Anyone here familiar with the Rocky Mountain Mystery School International? I'm not familiar with it, but I used to know the schools Guru - Gudni Gudnason - he was my karate teacher back in the 90's and somewhat of a friend - until we both moved from Iceland to different countries and lost contact. Then I found him on Google doing this. Very interesting to say the least :)

I don't pray to a religious god, but I do pray to my personal understanding of God. - When I pray, I pray for an open mind and the willingness to do the right thing and since I started praying this way, some 6years ago, I must say that I have become more open minded and more often than not I have done the right thing. It could be just the fact that I have repeated it so often to myself that it

Hi Susan & dEb, dEB: The bucket represents my spiritual program (see answer to Susan) and how I can sometimes get blinded by my 'spiritualness' - I get a little bit anal and don't see the real world - it sometimes happens, I'm still human ..though for a long time I wasn't sure of that :) (Return of the Ego Zombie, Relates to my Friend who's coming out of the ground ...and that's personal stu

Thanks for the link, Luke! I Like this part: "I went over to the other side during my near-death experience with a lot of fears about toxic waste, nuclear missiles, the population explosion, the rainforest. I came back loving every single problem. I love nuclear waste. I love the mushroom cloud; this is the holiest mandala that we have manifested to date, as an archetype. It, more than any

Hi Susan, I also meditate each day and have done so for almost 6 years now. During that time I've gone through all kinds of meditations, but the focus of it is praying and listening/sitting with the silence. About two weeks ago, I've started illustrating (Cartoonalize) my feelings, emotions or just what images come to my mind during my meditation -- I call it Medustrating :) It could also be

Hi Loki, My cats do this often ...it could have something to do with sound out of our 'human' frequency. However... ...some years ago I rented an apartment that had a friendly ghost/spirit in it (the mother of the owner ...or so she said :-) ...one of my cats sometimes used to see 'her'. First time it happened the cat was chillin on the sofa when suddenly it raised itself up, look at the door

What Candlewycke says is right on the money, ME. - It's what I do and it works great. I've tried all kinds of different meditations, but I always come back to my quiet-time. There is no sense of jumping into something complicated if you can't handle the most simple. You can try using a cooking-timer (mobile alarm) at first. It's like you would start jogging, not having done it before - you sta

Hi Shirley, Ireland is one of the few countries that are on my 'must-list' to visit, mainly because of the connection I feel and maybe it has to do with all that red hair the women on my mother side have (her included). My grandmother (red hair) used to go often to Spain and every time she used to comment on the fact that she could 'feel' when they went over Ireland. She didn't go to Ireland un

Hi John, I enjoyed listening to you text (too long for me to read so the V function in the Opera browser came in handy) …you sound a lot like Stephen Hawking, he he! Like with other interesting writing it made me think at the same time I listened …and just for the heck of it I share it with you :) My mind asked me: What would our perception of time be if we lived on a plane

Hi Shirley, I had that ‘baby’ experience just two days ago when shopping at my local supermarket – that kind of a smile goes a long way. Just thinking about that baby brings it all back. As to the nature, I do know the feeling of being close to its powers and the energy it gives you, but not until I had moved to the Netherlands and felt how low the energy is here.

Hi Shirley, I pray/meditate each morning and evening to what I call and feel as ‘The (life) Force’. I can’t really say that I specifically direct my prayers to The Force – rather that I send them ‘out there’ with a knowing feeling of a good reception/fishing on the other end. Now, I never thought of this, but I must say that my life-fo

Interesting… But did you know that this is exactly the idea with the 12step program? This is where I have lived for the past 3years by implying “your” ideas to my life, with the means of meditation - living in today/the present. The idea of the 12steps is that first you have to be able to “follow” the guidelines. Just reading the 12steps will g

I like this board. So many different approaches and ideas - so many people :) I truly am going through something at the moment, that’s for sure. Where it will take me can only be something better – since I’ve been going through some interesting stuff for the past 3 years. And though it has seemed rather bleak at times, it has always turned out the right way in the e

Hi there! Again I come out of lurkmode :) Last Sunday I took part in something they call Droom en Klank Reis, here in Holland, – or Dream and Sound Journey. Few people play all kinds kind of instruments ranging from flutes to gongs, drums and so on, while the rest (around 20 people) lie on the floor and take in the journey that comes to mind. Since this was my first time, it took som

Hi SunSword, I’m one of those who “know”, not that I was that way always, it kinda changed after certain “steps” I took. My whole outlook on life is based on this line; “The substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” – there is that magic in-between “hoped” and “

Well, I would bet it's one very dead Orka or a close relative. - in Iceland I've seen few beached whales (2 live & rest in the news/papers) and there are some whales skeletal around - so to my eyes there is nothing extra strange about this one. Whales are very powerful creatures, therefore the bones are big and strong (I guess), specially the Orka, begin a predator and all. When they rot
