Hi Graham, Santah and all of you who commented. Thank you all so much for your kind remarks, it’s always nice to get a little pat on the back now and then :) Since 1999 I’ve been a frequent/daily reader of this message board, but not really much of a contributor since I’m mainly an interested person – somewhat of an information sponge, without the need to

Hi all! Having to deal with little bit of a writers and drawing block today I thought it would be a good idea to draw something for fun …and this is what I choose to do after my daily visit here at GHMB ;-) Is it a plane? A bird? ….NO! It is… Post Edited (30-Jul-11 16:19)

Yeah, he sure was fun to watch. I recall predicting this happening sooner or later though …and I guess I was not the only one who saw this coming. The man was not exactly ‘careful’ in his handling of the creatures he so forcefully attacked in their own habitat - for our viewing pleasures. Here in Holland he did commercials for a mobile phone store – (Neve

Hi dEb, I guess you want to read into my standing towards this conflict - all I can say is; I call them Hezbollah. The situation down there is way beyond my comprehension – being raised none religiously in a country without an army or any close neighbors. But I do know that if my country would be attacked, I would most likely fight back. Guess that puts me on both sides of this ordea

Hi all, My thoughts exactly (Dave) – it can be no other way. Every story has that special FOX feel to it – one sided and rather weird, to tell the truth. I find it just unbelievable that such a thing exists. It is really scary to think that there are people out there that buy in to this/take this as their truth. Guess they would not like my cartoon at FOX ;-)

Hi there! I just went digital and among those 140 channels I’m supposed to be able to mush my brain with is the most interesting thing I’ve ever encountered on TV – FOX/NEWS I zapped in by chance on my first day without knowing exactly what I was watching. My first reaction was to zap on since I “didn’t like the show” …but th

Yeah... I guess it's immoral to be human, at least that's the only thing I can come up with. Or that some are not happy with being made in His image - who knows? :-) We all do IT, but please don't mention IT or show IT seems often to be the case. On the other hand, in my country this kind of a picture would not get anyone talking. Comes down to culture ...I guess? Greetings, Ingi

Hi Susan, If you change to Icelandic layout then you can go wild on: é - í - á - ú - ó - ý. It's the key (right to Enter) and the letter you want to use. That's one way to get your "é". Greetz, ingi

Hi Susan – Ingi the GHMB lurker here - since 1999 ;-) I used to have very clear goals/ambitions and be able to go focused for what I wanted/dreamt of. But... after having tried them all out for size (some didn’t fit) and succeeded with my no.1 (Comic artist) ..I’m now left with a rather dull ‘n existence momentary (I hope!) – kinda “in-

Hi there. I've got a technical problem. I’m using the Opera browser and have a problemo for you guys. When I click a subject/response and then go "back" - some of the text remains and mixes with the next page. I easily fix this with "refresh" but it can get frustrating if I'm really enjoying my reading, going from one answer to the other. It seems to be an Opera p

Hi SGR …on the subject. A good friend of mine and a classmate for the first 16years of my school life is 10 minutes older than me. Me: 17.09.1970 9:10 AM He: 17.09.1970 9:00 AM Both born in the same hospital and we both grew up in the same city, same area - just few streets away from each other. And more different persons you just couldn’t find. What’s interes

MMMM - sweet! :) I was just drooling over one of those yesterday at the local computer shop. Wouldn’t mind having one like that for my work. What are going to be using it for - video editing/games/Photoshop-like work? This kinda workhorse needs to be used. Any way - have fun cruising at this speed :)) Greetz, ingi PS: My sweetheart is a 17" widescreen P4 3.2 1G RAM Toshiba la

One down, twelve to go! Up there in the north they have 13 Santa clauses and they are not a friendly bunch. So maybe it was just the CocaCola-Santa that got gunned down on his way to the US from Finnland :) The below text is taken from: www.eurochristmas.com “Jólasveinarnir - The Yuletide Lads Jólasveinar first appear in the 17th century as the sons of Grýla and Leppalúði, who had

BUT#1 You’ve got a point there, but… Is this not “just” a book/movie – don’t we all know the difference between fact and fiction. Can we really put so much weight on one fictional character in the land of make-believe? I was 8 when I saw the first StarWars movie and though I must say that the idea of “the force” ha

Hi! I'm one of those that never took any pictures, left that to my parents and later my girlfriend :) Now, on the other hand, both my phone and Pocket PC have a camera that I use to take "snapshots" of whatever! To tell the truth my computer is full with the most boring pictures you've ever seen, he he :) But then again you can do this kinda stuff with those pictures: If I had a fi

Hi there! Nice idea for a topic :) I can say that what I wanted to be when I was young was something that I never really thought possible, to tell the truth. Looked like so much work and not really something to make money with, he he! But after trying many things from kindergarten work to ballet dancer I finally took a risk by following my old dream at the age of 27 …and now I’ve worked for 8y

This all smells like a plot to sell the book - hype it up a bit, don't you think? In this day and age the internet is a part of the whole experience, the line between the 'book' and the 'site' is blurred. At least the whole thing feels a little bit too much 'made' ...but as such, it is very well made and I am indeed interested in reading this book ...so it works I guess :)

Same can be said here in the Netherlands - some mornings the sky is one big criss-cross of lines. But, just now, the trails grow from trees :)

Tjah.... well, I must say that I have my very profound doubts about this all. Being a StarWars child and somewhat of a Trekkie I would like nothing more that to see a nice big Starship full of friendly aliens - greeting us, handing out gifts and whatnot! However one has to gather up the facts, come down to earth and realize that the world is full of people who just aren't running on all cyl

Well, BBC Tees just had something about this release this morning ...but maybe they were just taking it straight out of the Sun. They even spoke to a local who had met some aliens in his bedroom...

Hi SphinxGirl, What I see is a seagull gliding over the ocean. These birds can pick-up some good speed and my eyes see a 'blur' and a shape with-in it - and that 'shape' I outlined. The bird is not 'pulling-in its wings' ...this is a simple case of "shortening" when seeing objects 'straight on'. Bird wings have a 'bend' to them - especially ocean birds that glide. From the 'right' a

As much as I would like it to be a UFO, I personally think it's a seagull ...this time around. That closeup looks like a gliding seagull to me ...the 'raised-by-the-sea-me' ;-)

Hi Fus, Well, I don't intend to know why it worked for her, but it did. And it's true; what she was given would give most people headache - but in her case it did the opposite – then again, that’s also the way the Quakeapathy works, I’ve been told. ;-) Lynn: Homeopathy (or Quakeapathy) seems to work on the knowledge-level. In fact you are not really taking pure ni

Hi Lynn, I know the feeling – I often get the visual migraine part, without a bad headache (what I focus on has that shiny metallic blob over it). However! My wife had to deal with migraines for many years (before I met her) and it almost drove her do committing suicide, she got that fed-up with it! She had tried all the drugs she could take and nothing helped. It was not until she
