Yep, as Mossad pointed out, there is a resemblence there. All the talk of the partiotic german, ... err american, I ment to say, that backs up his country and is proud of it. And that this land needs to be secured against the jewish, .... err, sorry, terrorist threat, that threatens to sweep over the country. And that the countries interests have to be better represented abroad, best of cours

Hi there Drak, It might just be me (as I grew up in the eastern block) but if anybody ever told me that american musicians, wether they were black or white, went on tour through the eastern block and were NOT followed by the CIA I would laugh out loud. Maybe it's just that we were brought up, to be suspicious of any "westerers" during that time, or maybe it's because we did exactly t

Hi Jen C. There's a little town near Salzburg called Hallstatt, which is supposed to be really nice. It's pretty old (originated about 4.500 years ago) and the scenery is supposed to be breathtaking. Found this link here, if you wanna check it out signed, The original Severed Serpent (aka SilverSerpent) :)))

Here's you answer ... The word “Gothic”, attributed to the style that characterized European architecture between the first half of the twelfth century and the end of the fifteenth, brings to mind either Germanic origins or those predominantly diffused in German lands. It is, however, the result of a misunderstanding. It was invented during the Renaissance period and used by Filarete and Antonio

Yep, things are better now in Europe, though I could get at least a hundred people here to disagree with me. Mainly unemployed people who have not been able to find a job in 5 years, or young ones, that just have been told that the company will not take them over after they finished their apprentinceship. Also maybe a few people who got told after 5 years of studying that their degree will not be

Uhhh, I know what you're going through with that nostalgia, believe me, I regularly have to suffer (just kidding). There were some good heavy metal bands though .... But back to the hemp.... a friend of mine told me that you can make celluloide out of hemp that can be substituted for normal wooden one. It could very well used in recycling programms. She told me that whenever a piece of paper is

Hemp in general is being largely overlooked due to it's stigmata. I heard there are over 5000 items or goods that can be made out of hemp. I don't know if that figure is true, but I know that you can do a lot more than just smoke it. It's better for the environment in countless ways and there are types of the hemp plant that have a very low THC content and cannot be used to make drug (I believe t

I can say a few words to Ghengiz Khan ... Ghengiz grew up in a society where warriors were held in high regard. As a child he suffered abuse and I believe his parents were killed by a rivaling clan or he got obducted and later came free (can't remember it anymore). Anyway, his childhood experiences led him to want to become a powerfull man, a clan chief so he could take revenge. Through his dete

Tried that, but didn't get enough points. But Australia didn't have any big changes happening to the country within the last century or so. Australia has been political stable, and no wars were fought there in I don't know how long. So how can you say, what you are saying, when you don't know what it's like. I come from the former former eastern block and believe me, it wasn't a nice time, and it

No, that much is true. But what I cannot forget is how this change is affecting the people down on the street, cause for them it's not over when Saddam is gone. Now they have to build their society from scratch. And the way it looks not it can very well get very bloody down there. I speak from expierience when I write this. And even though our transition was realativly peacefull, it was only beca

This is just sickening. And absolutely not what springs tp my mind when I hear the words global conscienceness. If the human race truly achieves global consience then there would be no place for such statements like the above. In my view global conscience can only be achieved, if one embraces everyone of the human race as their equal and not judge them by where they were born, where they live now,
