I would label myself as right wing but the left has some good ideas that should be heard. Without two opposing sides, democracy fails and deteroirates into facism or communism depending on which side has all the power and say. "I am a conservative and will never touch the left." I bet you hold at few views which are leftist. For example, I take it from reading your posts on forums

"Amazing they survived all these years and relatively well. Nice to see their right to exist has been accepted all this time as well." Indeed, that alone is proof of God and that he has chosen to keep the covenant with his chosen people, In my humble uneducated opinion that is...

Iraq is hardly worthy of debating anymore. The war has been fought, whether you call it an annexation or a liberation is your choice. But one thing is for sure and that is that the majority of Iraqis are better off, for now at least. The pertinent issue at hand is North Korea and Kim Jong Il. If Iraq truly did serve as a Nuclear or biological "k-MART" as the media has labeled it num

I read an article at Foxnews.com today which said that the French government presence in Syria has been helping to smuggle Iraqis out of the country. When will they learn? George Bush isnt kidding when he says "Your with us or against us". Although a war with France would be foolish it could be the next step in some larger diabolical plot for world domination. I admit I am a Bush su

Everyone seems to be forgetting the classics. Ben Hur is hands down the best movie of all time in my opinion. Some other favorites include: Dances With Wolves, The Postman, and Army of Darkness just for the humor of it

"It has although been well documented that one of the goals or IMPERATIVES of a New World Order is to reduce the world's population by 80%. " Are you sure? I have never heard that before. I thought monopolies and control of money was the major prerequisite for a NWO. If your religious, than a consequence of the NWO will be an 80% reduction in the world's population or 3/4 or somewh

"The only difference is that there is really anybody in Iraq who's able to pass out information that hasn't been screened and sanitized by the USG." Anyway I noticed that the anti-war folks on this message board have been complaining about the biased media support of the War on Iraq in the US. There are alternatives. CSPAN has been airing Abu Dhabi TV in America which is a station ba

Are you forgetting that shortly prior to Frances help in the American revolution they tried to counqur the Americas for themselves. The colonists were wise enough to side with the British which was much less brutal and explotive at the time. Lesser of two evils I guess. Shortly thereafter the French decide to help America acheieve its independence....WHY? Because they were exploting the colon

Theres nothing wrong about my facts I just didnt list the times involved. THe Battle of Puebla was defending the capitol city of Mexico City, which if had fallen would have caused the whole country to surrender, or at least the French thought so. The reason it took them a few years to tottally rid there country of the invading French was because USA was in a civil war and didnt help the Mexican

You are right that the presidents of France and Mexico didnt support the war but the motives you listed are at least part wrong. France only objected to war because of greed, they had a multi-billion dollar deal with Iraqi oil which is now property of the US of A. Mexico's leader didnt support the war because he is a member of the P.A.N. political party and the majority of Mexicos citizens are

Let me also remind you of some other events in Frances history such as there part in cinco de mayo (Battle of Puebla). France invaded and attemped to conqure Mexico during the 1860's thankfully with the help of American forces and aid the Mexican army was able to beat them against incredible odds. Viva La Mexico! Moria La France!

HI Cleopatra, I really respect and can relate with some of the things you said in your reply to my ramblings. With one exception however I stated: > We will never know will we. We have seen what happens to > interns who become involved in sexual scandals with top > political leaders(ie chandra levy). His actions would have > been more acceptable if he were not currently married and

No I dont have any proof but you can take my word for it that I watched the tape of it on TV numerous times shortly after 9-11 occured. The tape basically consisted of Osama Bin Laden, his commander and a few other men sitting in a room discussing the 9-11 attacks and taking credit for them. They also mentioned that they were surpised the two towers actually collapsed and that Allah had truly b

Hi, I just dont understand the motive of the world's richest most powerful people to become "more rich and powerful". If I could think of a valid motive for the US to allow an attack on the banking HQ of the world thus resulting in a near collapse of the stock market and somehow get rich off of all this I would consider the fact that it is a conspiracy. But without a motive it is so i

Drak1, Your completey correct with your post. What I meant was which religion Judism or Islam has claim to the land as promised by God. Since both religions have the same God and "founder", Abraham you would think they could share the land half and half however I have always been confused how Islam claims there founder is Abraham because when Ishmael and Issac went there seperate ways

I love how the anti-war "conspriacists" who claim that the whole 9-11 ordeal was either allowed or planned by the US so that they could could to war will claim the next minute that Pres Bush is a complete idiot. In order to plan something like this, and get away with it as far as he has so far, he would have to be a brilliant mastermind. Another note, Dick Cheney, you mentioned he was

"I can see muslims having the same claim to the land." How? I thought Muhammed wasnt even born until 527 BC or somewhere abouts thus creating the religion of Islam. The Jews have been around for at least 500 years before that so how can the Muslims claim that the holy land is theres by right?

True, but like I mentioned earlier: If these warlords/dictators/maniacs are not dethroned first than the humanitarian aid gets no further than the dictator's army which is used to cause further death and suffering. So according to this, by not sending these countries humanitarian aid we are actually helping them indirectly.

Ananda, I am trying to remain "postivie thinking" since that is the subject of the thread. From my studies into the trasfer of many diseases which ravage third world countries, especially AIDS, I have found that many of them are spread due to tribal and religious customs. I wont go into details here, you can research that for yourself. I believe however If people live by the moral co

I agree with your post whole heartedly gimli. The reason these left wing liberals think they can help the world without lifting a finger is because they see Bono of U2 galavanting about Africa showing everyone how "easy" it would be to make Africa a utopia overnight with nothing more than money not realizing the only way to solve many of the problems in Africa is too topple the brutal

Numerous charities (mostly Christian organizations) donate millions and better yet, they suppy actual man power in these third world countries. If you really wanted to help these people than donate to a charity or join some international organization which will arrange for you to do humanitarian work in many of these 3rd world countries, except the few that forbid it, such as the Sudan. I assum

Probably the same reason why England, France, and the rest of Europe and every 1st world country for that matter doesnt. Stop blaming deaths on USA when you criticize them for trying to give food to innocent people in Africa which requires military action..such as somalia. BTW its estimated 4000 people die every hour from starvation alone
