Found it too boring, predictable and silly to read properly. They seem to have the idea that I and Robert Bauval -- either knowingly or unknowingly -- are involved in a conspiracy to do something, I'm not sure what. We aren't.

Dear Garrett, I definitely wouldn't publish our original debate without your agreement. Enjoy the holiday season. Best wishes, Graham

Robert Bauval has asked me to post this open letter on the message board: OPEN LETTER by Robert G. Bauval As you all know, I am not much of a participant on this message board. But I am now getting really annoyed that this board, which was intended to be an open forum for discussion and exchange of information and new ideas, is being used by some as a cheap opportunity to discredit Graham

I have just posted this message in response to Garrett Fagan in the thread "Debate" below: Dear Garrett, Seems to me I have these options: (1) Post our 77-page email debate anyway, even though you object. What I want to know is, will you sue me for breach of copyright if I do that or will you just call me more nasty names? (2)Copy and paste only my replies to your original

Dear Garrett, Sorry but I don’t buy your “preciousness” over the privacy of our very lengthy email debate. When you came into my life last year as the very personification of avenging orthodoxy -- full of huff and puff and righteous indignation -- it was with the announcement (your email to me of 10 November 1999) that you had been using my book “Fingerprints of the Gods” in a first-year se

Thanks for this. The Heaven's Mirror series is available on video in three episodes as "Quest for the Lost Civilisation". I think Amazon have it. Glad you liked it. We are making another series now for screening probably early in 2002. All the best, Graham

Sorry Garrett, It won't do. Our year-old debate is entirely relevant and also sets our carbon-dating argument in its proper context of the much more wide-ranging discussion we had about my methods and approach to prehistory. There was also something very true about that erlier debate, precisely because neither of us were doing it, then, for public consumption. Besides, if you have the g

Garrett out, "Dr Conspiracy" in, Dr Edlin out, "CSICOP" in. But at least Garrett and Dr Edlin are real people rather than doppelgangers. Dr Edlin even wrote a not completely unfriendly review of one of my books on Amazon.co.uk. I'm trying to write the best book of my life, right here, right now. An entirely new book which doesn't go over any old ground and with enough "

Dear Garrett, Publication on this site of our very extensive existing email debate, running to some 70 pages, is the most sensible way to allow visitors extensive access to your feelings about and criticism of my work, and my considered responses to your criticisms. After that first debate, into which we both put so much time and effort, has been published I will be happy to discuss further

Hi again Garrett, You've done a great deal of work on this, and your other two postings. Thank you, very much, for taking the trouble. Unlike many of your academic bretheren who are inept, bungling dotards when it comes to presenting an argument, I see you as a worthy adversary. To be honest, you could sell snow in Greenland! And I'm flattered that you regard me and my work as sufficiently

From "Voices of the Rocks", Professor R.M. Schoch PhD, Harmony Books, New York, 1999, pages 111-112 (in the edition I have): "Possibly the choice between natural and human-made isn't simply either/or. Yonaguni Island contains a number of old tombs whose exact age is uncertain, but that are clearly very old. Curiously, the architecture of those tombs is much like that of the mon

Can't get into this in too much detail now but it may be that the record we have of agriculture and domestication of crops is incomplete. I know of signs of probable domesticated crops in Japan -- rice 12,500 years ago -- and in Egypt -- millet 12,500 years ago. Neither is confirmed, but they are interesting. Unfortunately I don't have time to get into a debate on this issue now but I do inten

Sarah, If I was a guru I would turn the other cheek, as you seem to advise, and not make the mistake of reacting (and sometimes over-reacting) "personally" when people criticise me. But because I'm not a guru, and am on the contrary quite sensitive, short-tempered and full of faults, I do tend to have these personal reactions. Did you want me to reply to your letter at all? Or

My friend and colleague John Anthony West, and the geologist Robert Schoch, have recently made a presentation on the erosion of the Sphinx to the Geological Society of America. Since they set off the Sphinx-geology bombshell with their last presentation there in 1992, West and Schoch have been carefully gathering further evidence for their case that the Sphinx may be thousands of years older than

Dear Sarah, Thank you for this. I have never claimed to be anything other than a writer who used to be a journalist and now writes books. I don't claim to be Dr this or Dr that. I'm not a Professor of anything. I'm just an author. Facts are facts are they? Egyptologists are speculating as much and as wildly about the past when they say the Sphinx was made by Khafre, as you probably f

Again, unlikely before Spring 2002 but I've given plenty of lectures in NY and will be talking there again. Will post details of all future events on this site. My next definite event in the US is the Penn State Debate next September where a panel of orthodox academics will confront a panel of the unorthodox. Details will be posted soon. Allbest, G

Dear Thomas, Hi. Thank you, and your English is excellent. I haven't been to Morocco but have heard of Lixus and know there is a megalithic stone circle there. There are some rumours of underwater structures off Morocco -- large blocks at depths of about 17 metres -- which I am still hoping to investigate. Hope this helps. All the best, Graham
