Thank you, Graham. We'll take Laird from a case of Red Bull to bottles of Vicodin in short order. Patrick

QuoteI think that its kind of fun at this speculative level. Alright, Debra. As long as this statement is given in advance: WARNING: THE FOLLOWING ARGUMENTS ARE SPECULATIVE !!! I would go for that as long as we're having fun. Patrick

Hi Ray, I appreciate your comments, but I have found that Laird rarely responds to comments that invalidate his preconceived viewpoints. When cornered, he simply ignores that issue and moves forward to something else. Computer programming is math-based and considered a science, so he should know better. Hypotheses are to be tested - if they are wrong, they are discarded, not ignored. To do o

So what do they have to do with what this maniac has just said, do you realise that he implied that the Murder of non-musliims is ok? The Crusades are just as relevant today as the Bible and the establishment of Christianity itself. Bin Laden consistently refers to the resurgence of the Caliphate as well as the struggle ag

Most elite sprinters put flaxseed oil in an ADP recovery drink daily since it apparently prevents pulled muscles in addition to boosting the immune system. The concoction is nicknamed "motor oil" because of its taste. It helps in recovering from a tough workout, but doesn't provide additional strenghth. However, taking too much flaxseed oil can result in diarrhea. Maybe that's wha

I second David's motion. Read the book before seeing the movie. It won't ruin the movie, I'm sure. PS -- I was raised Catholic. Please don't tell Sister Superior that read the book. She still believes Mother Mary is a virgin, and I don't want the paddle! (shudder)

OK, but this still leaves the unfinished business of Osmanagic's alleged pyramid. If if turns out to be a pyramid, Marduk has offered to eat his motorcycle hat. Odds? 1 in 100, but stay tuned. BTW, what type of seasoning goes well with a hat?

"Marduk won.. However I think he may be cheating.. so that could be disallowed.. however, I dont remember any rules so!! Mel :)" Getting silver isn't so bad unless there are only two contestants. I will stand in awe of Marduk whether he cheated or not since there were no rules.

Of course, by now the enchanting Ms. Forrer could be scared out of her wits. "i suggest we settle it by both e mailing Miss Forrer our guesses and letting her announce the winner. i don't want to reveal my best guess to all and sundry on an open forum !! deal ?" It's a deal if Ms. Forrer agrees to such. Whaddya say, Mel? "of course you'd have to have proof that you knew the

That's great, but can we write a book on it and make money? Maybe something about KFC using alien-abducted chickens? For that matter, wasn't the Colonel an alien?

I like flash frozen mammoths, they taste just like chicken. I also like sensationalism since reality can be so boring sometimes.

"Dr.Weiss states that in his experience no harm was ever done to a person because of regression and knowledge about past lifes" Not if you relived the last minutes of Willaim Wallace, Louis XVI, or Joan of Arc to mention a few. Seems to be a fair amount of trauma in those experiences.

Ancient history is bizarre and interesting to me. Even more bizarre is the biased interpretations I read which tend to be revised regularly based on new discoveries. I dig occasionally in the dirt as a non-professional to find artifacts which, according to the Clovis police, aren't there. Unlike Mel, I do not dig in the mud (too messy).

I'm not sure that I can make the Mediterranean cruise ... does this mean I don't get to be Julius Caesar in a prior life? Actually, I like the concept of reincarnation. It explains the bugs in my yard.

I like the idea of sending nefarious individuals to nefarious places. Serial killers will be able to hone their skills as part of an outsourcing program. New, little serials can learn through OJT. We will need to work out the tax deductibility issue for the accountants, though. Is the expense of serial killing for gov't black ops a job-related deduction on Form 2106?

The statistics you give a chilling, but right on the mark. As opposed to giving serial killers legal representation and life imprisonment for conviction at taxpayer's expense I suggest that Marduk and I be given the right to rehabilitate them as we see fit. It will save time and money and if the newspapers complain, we'll even send out press releases on each case. The only delay in swift justi

Hi Dr. Wolpoff. We finally have proof through Svante Paabo's group that H sapiens mixed with Neanderthals and Denisovans. What do you believe the relationship is between Denisovans and H erectus?
