Hi T Bird,
That site of Gary Osborn's is very comprehensive. A lot of research and calculation there.
I'm certainly on board with a change in obliquity. I'd even suggest that, at some earlier time, there was no obliquity at all. No precession. No seasons. Utopia.
Then, bang!
Earth is shifted. The wobble starts. Still wobbling. That is why there are these adjustments being necessary. And Timelessness becomes Time.
The Ancients, above all, were skywatchers. All this caveman stuff, evolutionary concepts of Neandearthals, Cro Magnon etc. does not fit in with a high level of astronomical understanding around 13000 BC. That knowledge appears to be an overlay from a different source. From astronomy came number. From number came form. Sacred number, sacred forms.
And if there was an understanding of the cycles and the Gods of Fire, measures for survival would be of paramount importance. The books of old mention warnings of impending disaster. Some entities knew that the past would once again be the future.
Everything fits. Just how many turns of The Wheel were necessary for the knowing?
And in the beginning.....
