SC: I am afraid it does not. Menkaure was not Khufu's son. Menkaure was the son of Rachaf. You are saying on the one hand that "...a father concerned with his son's tomb..." and then "...Menkaure sought to incorporate his site into a plan initiated by Khufu." Why was Khufu not concerned with his son, Rachaf's pyramid? And why was Rachaf not concerned with fitting into Khufu's plan (which Menkaure appears to have done) or indeed, why didn't Rachaf create a plan that his son, Menkaure's pyramid, would fit into?
So you agree then that Khufu initiated a plan? To what end?
