>>> It's a shame that scholars ignore the ancient writers like Plato, except when they are in accordance with current 'facts'. But if it upsets evolution theory or established chronology then they are just telling fanciful stories. Herodotus talks of a different Nile but they say it's not possible.
"And they told me that the first man who ruled over Egypt was Men, and that in his time all Egypt, except the Thebaic canton, was a marsh, none of the land below lake Moeris then showing itself above the surface of the water?
"(Men).......it was he who raised the dyke which protects Memphis from the inundations of the Nile. Before his time the river flowed entirely along the sandy range of hills which skirts Egypt on the side of Libya. He, however, by banking up the river at the bend which it forms about a 100 furlongs south of Memphis, laid the ancient channel dry, while he dug a new course for the stream half-way between the two lines of hills."
Would this last part pertain to the beautiful picture of the Giza plateau you posted on another thread?[end]
Thanks for that information....awesome : )
Bit by bit we are seeing high water as being a dominant factor in erosion on the giza plateau.
was pondering on the Osirion,
what is it.......some 30 or more feet below current ground level?
why build below ground in a floodway?
Osiron's probably.... really really ancient
I'm thinking the Egyptians had their hands full coping with the nile,
it would appear they did have some success in controlling the nile and isolating sites ...for restoration...which were under water before,
damaged...from high water?
My studys into the Inca lore of Giants,
its passed down to the Spanish that after the flood,
Giants arrived by boat.....and that there was benevolent Giants,
and ones which were violent/warlike....in direct competition with man.
The picture I'm seeing in my imagination is a period of survivor migrations,
it would seem they survived the flood that Posnansky points to in the Pleistocene.
David Hatcher Childress is another researcher who speaks at length about the Giants,
and that there exists an underworld of tunnel systems in South America,
some very large....hyp/that Giants made them.
Klaus Dona is another with significant ancient finds in South AM/World wide,...and speaks about Giants
hope you enjoy the Youtubes : )
