Thank you for your kind words of support. A minor clarification, however:
JS: It's certainly the most scientific basis for believing the OCT I have ever seen, and I'm sure Robert Bauval himself will welcome it. To me, it's a "smoking gun".
SC: Bauval's OCT is a much larger theory than just the pattern of the Gizamids matching the pattern of the Belt stars. It also (in its earliest form) invoked other stars in the Orion constellation although I think Bauval may have now dropped those. It invokes the Nile as a mirror or reflection of the Milky Way and the Sphinx as representing Leo. It has the shafts of the Great Pyramid targetting Al Nitak (KC) and Sirius (QC). I am yet to be convinced of these elements of Bauval's OCT.
The two things, however, that I do believe he has absolutely correct is in identifying the Gizamids as symbolic representations of Orion's Belt and that the Queen's of Menkaure mark the precessional minimum culmination c.10,500 BCE.
