No, not true. We DO control what appears in our profile. If it were out of our control, why would there be an edit option to change what we'd entered?

What's the problem with using a person's real name?? Why do some posters make an issue of it, when they've put their real name in their profile? (You're not the first person who has become angry at another poster's use of their real name. I can recall two or three other instances. I though it a strange reaction).
