Hi Scott,
Thank you for your question, part of the "message" or knowledge that I have discovered here that was encoded within the geometry is what I believe to be the measuring system. On my website scroll down to the graphic that on Aakhu t Khufu,you can see some of this information but I will explain it to you here.
There I show the breakdown of the Egyptian Cubit, its relationship to the "English Inch", it's relationship to the speed of light and its encoding in the Pyramid of Khufu. First the I think we can all agree that the Pyramid of Khufu was intended to have a base length of 440 Royal Cubits. The next thing is to explain is the numbering system uses "canonical' numbers" which are the numbers that get you close or are approximate, I call them the Root numbers, those numbers are then corrected to the exact numbers by another fraction or number.
The number 432 which is key here is found in a musical scale of fifth intervals that begin with the number or 128, each fifth interval is achieved by multiplying the number by 1.5 so, 128 x 1.5 =192 x 1.5 = 288 x 1.5 = 432 x 1.5 = 648 and continues three more intervals to 2187.

The interval in between the 3rd and 4th "note" 288 and 432 is where the "English" Inch is derived. By dividing that interval of 144 ( 432-288=144) by 7 result in the number 20.57142, (144 divided by 7 = 20.57142) Also simply 432 divided by 21 (3x7=21 more on that later) = 20.57142

The canonical or Root speed of light is 432 x 432 = 186, 624

I believe the original designers "intended dimensions" of Khufu are as follows

Base Length = 441.000 canonical or Root Cubits of 20.57142 "English "Inches
" "= 440.000 Royal Cubits of 20.61818 "Engish" Inches
" " = 756 "English" feet
Slope angle of 51.84 degrees
Slope angle result of 22 Base, 7 height or 22/7 decimal equivalent = 3.14285

The Root speed of light 186624

186,624 ÷ 20.57142 = 9072.003 Inches
9072.003 ÷ 20.57142 = 441.000 Root Cubits (Canonical)
9072.003 ÷ 20.61818 = 440.000 Royal Cubits
9072.003 ÷ 12 = 756 ft

To correct the canonical 186624 to exact, 186282 is done with the numbers 441 and 440 as follows;

Canonical speed of light= 186,624 ÷ 441 = 423.1836
Exact speed of light = 186.282 ÷ 440 = 423.3681
Root Cubit squared, 20.57142 x 20.57142 = 423.1833

There are two more Cubits, to find, the Royal cubit is found by dividing 648 by 3.142857 (Pi 22/7) and equals 206.1818 one decimal point difference. Also by adding the 440th part of 20.57142 ( 20.57142 divided by 440 =.04675227) so 20.57142 + .04675227 = 20.61818, the Royal Cubit. Also of significance is the number of 206.1818 ft is equal to 120 Royal Cubits the stated base length of the Tower of Babel, an interesting note.

The Common Cubit of 18 inches is found simply by dividing the number 144 by 8 and equals 18. There are 8 "notes" contained within 7 intervals

To sum it up all three Egyptian Cubits are as follows;

20.57142 inches = the Root Cubit or canonical
20.61818 inches = the Royal Cubit or standard cubit
18 inches = the Common Cubit

This also relates to the Great Year, its canonical number of 25920 years and its corrected of exact length or to be more accurate the rate of precession we experience currently and is as follows;

25920 - 144 ( our key number above) = 25776
25776 divided by 360 (degrees in a circle) = 71.6 years per 1 degree of precession.

I hope this answers your question here and will lead to more questions, Thank you Scott for politeness when asking your question.

Respectfully,
Ed
