Indeed - I wholeheartedly agree - as it's both insulting and infantile to name-call another poster in one's reply.

Polite debate includes saying things like "I disagree with you on this" or "With all due respect, you are mistaken in saying..... " or "I differ because...." or "I must point out to you that....." or "That's not actually the case, because....."

Otherwise, instead of Polite Debate, it becomes Pollute Debate ........
