The Bible shows only a fleeting familiarity with Egyptian history. If the Pharaohs were actually known, they would have been named. I think that most of the Bible was written by Persian priests after the so-called expulsion from Babylon around 600 BC unfamiliar with Egypt. There may have been residues of knowledge of Akhenaton and other New Kingdom kings in Canaan, since Canaan was an Egyptian province during this time, but there was certainly no Jewish presence in Egypt around 1400 BC. The earliest known Jewish presence is around 600 BC in Canaan/Palestine, created artificially, as I suggested, by Persian priests. The Exodus never occurred, as the Jews were never in Egypt. It was all made up.
