Precisely it is the iron Raja they are literally "bleeding angels" !
I have read something about their messed up DNA I have to find out where it is.
What you don't understand is when you are anemic like I was after the birth of my son your vegetarian diet won't help a bit - even though I loved the horses so much the orders of the faculty of medecine was to drink red wine and to eat horse meat - I didn't like red wine either but when you have to raise your child you pass on your own liking to get back in shape as soon as you can. It took me 6 months to recover because I wasn't properly diagnosed during pregnancy for that problem.
So vegetarians have to understand that there is nothing wrong with that if it suits them but it is not for everybody. As always moderation is the key.
I have tried several time to be a vegetarian and each time I had huge problems with cereals so you will excuse me but I am a little fed up with this vegetarian craze - what is good for somebody can be a poison for somebody else - Happy Holidays and you are right for the carrots they are precious especially for me I have to eat the color orange because I am at risk for lack of calcium and the color orange has the property to fix it.
Best,
