Hi seasmith

Yes, I can totally go along with all you say. I really like that term Entheogen, I had not heard it before. I love that it has the same root as Enthusiasm. It also made me think that even with the body and mind left behind the Spirit too is multifaceted. It IS Pure, but as you turn to face it, how YOU are will attract what IT is. Infinity has everything. Maybe this is why NDE reports are so alike. The Human Body Death is pretty much the same at the nano second OF Death. Nobody is ever Dying, dying away until the life stops flowing maybe, but Death is Instantaneous I think. People who experience NDE say they 'suddenly' or were 'catapulted' away, they get 'sent' back or 'choose' to come back in a snap of the fingers. Another thing they often say is they find themselves back in a body wracked in pain, which certainly did not go with them. They were away in a super clear state, not fuddled with pain killers or floating above pain, which drugs like Morphine and Heroin induce. You can still feel the buzz of pain at the bottom, believe me. You just stop caring so much, in my personal experience and by discussing it with others.
They come back changed though. No question. Definitely Universal, as are all those states you mention, the Inbetween World. The Astral Plain, as Above so Below. I have not ever had an OBE, but I used to get Disassociation a lot. Like you just aren't present. Apparently it kicks in when you don't want to be where you are and are overwhelmed. I used to slap my face to try and get back with little success.

Hallucinogenic just means a wandering mind. It may involve similar, and the dropping and rebuilding of synaptic responses, but it still knows it's wandering around itself I reckon...:)
Or Having a Party as opposed to Welcome to This Party.

I think the 'Little Death' is like a purification.
I like this saying from the Buddha

' Three things that cannot be long hidden. The Sun, The Moon, and The Truth. '

Quote
The original quote has nothing to do with things escaping the condition of being hidden, but is to do with the fact that the Buddha’s teaching was not a tradition where secrets are passed on from teacher to student. Instead it’s a tradition where the teachings are openly available for all to see.

The Spirit is freely available to all. There for the taking. It has to be in our Force Fields, Past Present and Future as one ?. Not just our little life stories but Infinity as well ?. I think we are aware of it with the Drains and Radiator people. One person can Drain the entire room of Energy. Others can lift the Spirit right up as soon as they appear. This is before they even say a word ! You don't even need to see them as you can Feel them. I guess that means our personal Force Fields are multi faceted as well, and how THEY are hits a particular part.'As Below So Above'.

Just my thoughts.
Stay well
Yve
