Thanks for this. I do not explore Mithraism in The Immortality Key. Not for lack of interest, but only lack of space. I focus, instead, on the Dionysian Mysteries as the possible container of a psychedelic experience into the paleo-Christian era -- doubly interesting, given the role played by women both in the Dionysian and Christian Mysteries. I see Mithraism as a largely male cult; a drinking club frequented by the military which may or may not have perpetuated a genuine secret.
