or that psychedelics may give rise to them. I just question that psychedelics give rise to religions.
Certainly I honor your own mystical experiences and what they have meant to you.
I am not so sure however that at the current time there is this self-censorship when it comes to mystical experiences.
On the contrary a few centuries ago people would be very wary of sharing mystical experiences
since this could easily have them burned at the stake. (Sixth Wave) The risk was very real. In our
own time (Largely Eighth Wave) it is the opposite. A huge number of people are sharing mystical
experiences sometimes gained from psychedelics, but sometimes other altered states of consciousness.
Truth is now perceived as personal meaning that anything goes and there is little risk involved.
I would rather say that people now dismiss many of mystical experiences people had in the past
and formed the basis of religions and this is really because we are now collectively living in another
state of consciousness than people did in the past.
