Those are all interesting questions, but they don't seem to have much to do directly with Donald's book. IMO, Donald claims that his "Egyptian yardstick" is an almost magical unit that embodies a different way of understanding our existence in the universe. He claims to be giving us the connector, but in the bit presented to us in his AOM, he doesn't even tell us exactly what is being connected--except that it is all encompassing.

So, I think it reaches to the spiritual issues you want to explore, but I doubt that's what he wants to talk about. I'm still thinking through Bohm's completely different attempt to do what Donald is doing as described in the movie, "Infinite Potential":

Like you, I'll be interested in what he connects; I'm more interested in how he does it with his "Spirit of Light" cubit.
