I can feel a sea change though. The egos have been exposed. Those who demand to be THE expert on their narrow field can be seen to be holding back progress. The refusal to share knowledge with each other across the world is appalling.
Did you know that in Britain in 1404 a law was rushed through to ban Alchemy. They were terrified creating gold would devalue that held by the Government. No interest in the science.

The current way of insisting the end result exists, 'they' just have to find a way to prove it is nonsensical to me. Calling original thinkers 'pseudo' is equally nonsensical. It just lets things go round in circles.The originators made their contribution and it's time to move on...but then they wouldn't get their lovely grants would they ?
Not so much 'standing on the shoulders of giants' anymore. More like climbing over the pile of bodies churning out the same old same old. Please keep going. They can't KEEP hiding evidence away.
