The way I see things as I have elaborated in the Purposeful Universe and also in Quantum Science of Psychedelics is that genes (and their DNA) are not very important when it comes to the development of our anatomy and morphology. What is critical for this is instead the underlying geometry of the quantum field formed by the waves of creation that the Maya described. The key event in fertilization is the formation of an "antenna" called a centriole that tells the cells how to divide in this field and it is those cell divisions that determine how our bodies will form.
It is really self-evident that the directions of cell divisions are the critical factor but there is such a massive indoctrination going on from genetic industry that all any body hears about who has not studied the matter deeply is the DNA. ANd yes as you are suggesting Glass Jigsaw, this is a form of entanglement and ultimately in the macrocosmic quantum theory that I have developed these centrioles are entangled with the spine, which are entangled with the Preferred Axis in Cosmology which is what the ancients talked about as the Tree of Life.
