That's brilliant, Carl, thank you.
I have no scientific background, so please excuse the clumsy way I frame ideas and questions.
I have long thought every cell of our bodies has its own entanglement, a little like a shoal of fish moving together, which make up our body, and we exist in an ongoing Call and Response with the Cosmos. As I sit here I am not aware at all of all the unseen things affecting me, like Gravity or electrical waves, or all the unseen things I produce like pheramones and body heat.
Robert Jameson does some great DNA posts and he sent me one which stopped me in my tracks, as a reply to me.

It seems that the egg makes all the decisions, has all the power, possibly having a more precious cargo. Maybe it looks for a sperm that has the factor the unique cargo it needs to survive by passing on.
His reply
Did you know the female egg (gamete) is some 30,000 times larger than the male sperm cell (also referred to as a gamete)? The egg may be produced by either one of the female’s two ovaries so will journey towards the uterus via one of two fallopian tubes. Interestingly, something seems to signal the male gametes which of the two fallopian tubes they must enter to find and fertilise the female egg. Then, amazingly, once the male gametes are in close proximity to the female egg they appear to sit back and wait. So, having survived the odds of a million to one to reach the site of fertilisation, several hundred pause in close proximity to the female egg. Then one will come forward, penetrate the wall of the female egg and claim the prize of fertilisation.....[grahamhancock.com]

So Carl, my puzzle was what on earth happens in that pause, that Gap ? Is the call and response happening in the UNSEEN
mutual selection ? Is it looking for a compatible match of non-physical factors ? Do we have dormant DNA waiting for the right circumstance to be used ?. We know the double slit experiment is affected by simply being observed, do the egg and sperm actually pause in unison, waiting for a response from the Cosmos, not each other ?.
We also know that in extremely stressful circumstances a mammal can spontaneously abort, ( one of the classic symptoms of a plane hijack is that women start to menstruate ) so it seems there is an awful lot of 'thinking' going on in reproduction.
I am tired and want to reread what you and Bruce wrote tomorrow.
I hope you can follow what I am trying to say...:)

This just occurred to me. I read about scientists using virus cells as carriers, to attempt to genetically engineer previously incurable conditions by changing DNA.

This was from your reply to Donald re the cubit length and the spine.

'Hence even if it may occasionally happen that this unit would spread through direct contact the only reason this would be the case is that there is a reality to the spine being the axis of the human tree of life.'

As I understand it viruses store themselves in our spines, they may flare up in a new state, like Chickenpox and Shingles. Is the cubit measuring rod marking off vertebrae too ? A little like indicating which area is responsible for which body part,as the Chakras do ? Is it a reminder to look to the Spine. Tree of Life, for historic DNA changes, and therefore passed down through generations possibly ? Sacred Knowledge in plain sight.
