Correct. I was thinking mainly that Wim's feats demonstrate that such genetics may include your Denisovans and other human types. Based on what he's shown, with untrained subjects, it may now seem silly to dismiss what you are suggesting as a possibility. It would appear that WE have the innate capacity to traverse high mountains at altitude in winter with no or very little protection.
