Hello Erik, 7 foot and taller is what we are classifying as giant. We understand that there are a percentage of humans who achieve this height but it is a very small percentage. It is clear that when we are talking about a royal class of enormous Native Americans the anatomical descriptions are of enormous, robust and proportional people, not skinny NBA players. While their are many accounts well out of normal range ( 8 feet and taller) we find it worthwhile to document skeletons measured at 7' 3", 7' 4", 7' 6 etc.. that were documented for instance by Smithsonian scientists in their Ethnology reports.
The most compelling evidence is the enormous amount of data not just one piece, in the book we focus on many of the most compelling cases.
Hugh and I are currently working on a worldwide book right now. What is remarkable is the similarity in worldwide myths, legends and historical documentation found. I have been in contact with Rex Gilroy from Australia who has compiled very interesting evidence and artifact finds and we had researcher Terje Dahl from down under on our History Channel show Search for the Lost Giants, his site is sydhav.no. Thanks
