I'll do my best Thomas, but you'll have to be patient. I've just got back from the first actual holiday I have allowed myself for several years -- two days off with Santha to celebrate my 64th birthday.

Naturally I've returned to hundreds of unanswered emails, my publishers are beating at the door for progress reports on Magicians of the Gods and I have two big research trips looming that I must prepare for.

Author of the month is very much an interchange between the featured author and this community. It's up to you to get discussions going by posting interesting topics and by responding to comments. Some authors have been very slack at that -- so much so that I've several times considered cancelling this feature -- but others have been more proactive. I hope you'll be one of those and I will definitely try to look in from time to time.
