As I've said, given the nature of scientifically-reasonable information that seems to underlie the cosmologies of cultures such as India, I don't believe we have a candidate to assign the knowledge to that is much more credible than Sci-Fi aliens. So we can deny the nature of the information, or we can open our minds to possibilities that might seem crazy.
R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz, in discussing the Islamic concept of the Bridge of Sirah, said essentially that truth will be found to lie on a razor's edge between science and superstition. Whichever perspective a person subscribes to, they may ultimately be required to stretch it a little.
