As yours is the PCIe 1.0a it is the later version which, I think, was past the transition phase.
About the only thing I have read concerning something like this is making sure the power supply is adequate as some computers would have like a 300-325 power supply and some higher end graphics cards would need like a 350-450 power supply.
But if you can get more bang for your buck and not cost you in upgrading power supply then go for the cheaper one with all else equal.
