I'm in a place where I can eat what I want because of my karma--it has enabled me to have this flexibilty. It has enables me to avoid combat.
These terms like "more spiritual" "better" "worse" are meaningless. Everything's relative.
The less karma I create--we create--the quicker we reach a state of being where it is unnecesary to incarnate in this plane. If that bums you out, ask yourself why... You seem to to want everyone to have an equal chance to achieve freedom, which is fine, but you don't feel they should have to earn it by how they use their free will. That's illogical. You can't rationalize killing just because it's part of your culture. It was part of mine too. Some of us see that fallacy in this life, and others won't see it for one or a hundred lives later. That may bother you, but it's true. We get to make our own rules, but we also must live with the result of those actions and desires. There is no free pass to Freedom because we had good intentions, and we really tried, yadda yadda.
