Anyway, last week I threw away about 30 socks because I was having trouble pairing them up, distinguishing the dark blues from the blacks and working out who the hell owned them in the first place. They had been in a pile in the lounge room for months and just had to go.
Ah washing. Yes colours run but I suppose when they run on other colours the change of tone is often subtle enough to be overlooked. I am always perplexed as to how to wash some of my sons trendy long sleeve t-shirts - the sleeves being a different colour to the rest of the garment.
Then there are textures. Yes we are supposed to separate brushed cotton from everything else.
Socks stink so I feel I have to wash those separately too.
We have to many clothes and most of them don't even get worn. They don't get put away properly, they get thrown on the floor and then I pick them up and wash them again.
One day soon I am going to throw more than the socks out....
