Sorry, but that's a total straw man. Instituting more rigorous background checks isn't taking anyone's guns away. How the gun lobby and its supporters arrive at that conclusion is a mystery. Again, it just shows their hatred of Obama.

So, in regard to 'doing something constructive', please tell us what you object to in Obama's proposals. Here they are again:
