well, i'm really familiar with the area out there. What struck me was the direction from which it was headed. From the North. Just south of the story I heard is the industrial area. The mall is right next to I 205, so was this place. It also would've been rather difficult to continue following whatever it was because it was crossing over areas with less side streets and a highway dividing it along with large industrial buildings.
