To those same people mentioned, although not a spokesperson, I would add, Army, Navy, Air Force pilots and associated support personnel often fall into the same category - have something to loose or are not prepared for the economic and social fallout if classified matters discussed. Like the black-budget and secrecy around these aerial craft and hidden agenda’s the numbers of people directly associated and those that were associated with need to know access have grown. The liars, have indeed, made both tactical misjudgments and strategic errors.
At any rate, this still isn’t anything new, but in part a phishing expedition to see who’s still interested, who’s become interested, what clout they have of forcing disclosure, whether these folks have the means to turn the tide of accountability. To me it suggests that someone has what is known as a dead-mans-trigger operating. They’ve been threatened by secret keepers.
