How tragic that so much pain was and still is caused by religion. I am not a follower of the OT god either, in fact I want to distance myself from HIM as much as possible. HIS thoughts on marriage are best demonstrated by the fact that HE himself never married.
How even more tragic that Jesus' teachings are confused with this over-zealous creator who often contradicts himself, proclaims that one shall not kill and then demands that entire villages were slaughtered in his name. I don't remember Jesus saying anything about homosexuality, but I remember him saying that one should not judge others, that one should love one another...
