I agree that string theory is the closest approximation to the idea of 'god' that science is likely to find. I find it most interesting that the ancient Egyptians also believed this. This would suggest that, long ago, science and religion were one.
As a result of coming to this view that science and religion were one, I watch with interest the various discussions on this board and currently on Talisman board, re the religions, cults, occults etc [I call these man made organisations]. As I read these threads, I ask myself the question: how, when and why did the organisations get away from the very basic idea that 'god' is the thing that makes the vibration of matter happen.
Probably the most interesting question is why was this scientific based concept abandoned in favour of the concept of 'god' that we have come to know over the last two thousand years or so?
