<<>>In fact that is how the kabbalists would explain failure to properly manifest one's idea: that you failed to create a receptive state in oneself. As Jaq has noted the earth needs time to nourish a new seed, during which we can't see what is going on under the ground, same with our plans and ideas.<<

Not following here. Surely She feels it -- intuits it?>>

Sorry, it's so hard to put in words. What I mean is if we want to manifest an idea or wish first you need the will/masculine but your idea will dissipate or "be scattered by the wind" if you don't provide the "container" for nourishment and this is the way of the receptive/feminine. It all happens within human psyche of course. And I compared it to the earth nourishing the seed while it is still invisible above the earth. Some people lack patience to wait for their ideas to take root and rush into something else, some are fearful that it may not happen and don't provide the right nourishment etc. I think that is what Jesus was saying in his parable of the seeds that fall on different kind of soil.
Yes it's all kabbalah and it's about magic, the rules for becoming a co-creator. If you know how to "will" something, providing it's not some stupid fancy that your reason will reject, and know how to provide the nourishment/container, you make it manifest. We all do it more or less consciously but most people have problems with providing a "container" and unknowingly sabotage their own plans.
I hope it makes sense, I spent years twisting my mind reading about kabbalistic meanings in the hebrew letters and their combinations in words and sentences in the bible. Still have problems in putting it into practice!
