Hi Milo,
Human beings are full of contradiction, always changing, always evolving and the Knights were no exception. My take on this is Knights were tested all the way up....if they were worthy and willing to embark on a spiritual quest they could be initiated to a higher order of spiritual fighters against evil, on the contrary if they weren't interested in elevating themselves they were sent to fight in the Crusades. That is a very basic scheme which could be discussed to no end for the details which would include some sources I have been blessed to be privy to (some have disappeared, some can be still found on the net).
Rob what it is when I pronounce your nick RoB I always think
to Robert the Bruce and Bannockburn ?
As for me I evolve and change everyday. So the Claude you heard about yesterday is not the same today. In between she heard about the tragedy in Spain on tv where people in the street were asked who do they thought were responsible for this tragedy ? among the interviewed a woman caught my attention by saying :
who cares who is responsible ? the important thing is people suffer.
So for me I direct my attention to people who suffer and won't waste
time anymore to look for the responsible but again it is my feminine
point of view and I know that you are the other side of the coin.
Without you and me there would be no balance. So we agree to disagree
and can still be both right ... right ?
Carpe Diem
Claude
