I was just outside, thinking about what you said and I had a thought. In a way, it would almost make sense that Jesus would have offspring. Why? Because that would mean that in another sense, he would live on through humanity forever. There would be a million or more of his descendents by now, many going about their lives and not even having an inkling of knowledge of their bloodline. In a very real sense, he would've never left us at all in the physical world. Some would consider Jesus having children to be an abomination because it threatens his deity-like persona. But not really. If he had the foresight to know that he'd have millions of descendents and who knows? someday the whole world being linked to him by blood, that would make him pretty godly in my book.
I left religion a long time ago but in alot of ways, I still practice it. Doing good in the world doesn't have to be about religion. It is about making the world a better place, even by just a little bit. If everybody was to do this, imagine what a world it would be. And you're absolutely right. Worry and its highest form, paranoia, only feed the thing that you fear. Good advice indeed.
Much thanks.
