Hi Rob
You are right about it being a funny old world. I was wondering where you got your handle from by the way. I still love that rather large wardrobe that led me to Narnia all those years ago and I have not really grown up. I still read kids fiction a lot besides Philip Pullman and J.K. Rowling. I have discovered the Artemis Fowl series, A.F. is a fantastic anti-hero forever trying to get his hands on fairy gold and is a world class super villain at age 12. They are side splittingly funny especially if you have a sense of the ridiculous.
Anyway thank you for making me feel welcome on my first foray in debating with you all – I have learnt a lot already and am looking forward to “edumacating” myself further. It is also nice to know that I am not the only one who thinks about all this stuff :-)
Warm regards
Susie
