Hi Susie,
It does seem all very curious, the world we're born into, I mean. This is why I identify with characters like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Alice who went down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, Milo who went through the phantom tollbooth, Hansel and Gretel, the Prince in Sleeping Beauty, Atreyu in The Never Ending Story, Frodo in the Lord of the Rings and many other childlike anti- heroes and heroines.
To really simplify it, I think of what Oscar Wilde said: it started with a man and a woman in a garden and ended with revelations!
regards
Rob
