Dear Milo
Thank you for your really interesting reply. You really know your Bible don’t you. I am rather lacking on that and I think that I need to study it more.
You pointed out that
“many have also commented that Lucifer could also refer to the Serpent that tempted Eve because the Serpent was also said to have brought Knowledge to mankind. Anyone can be a Lucifer but generally the term is given to certain principal characters in the cosmic play that we are involved in here on Earth, particularly the dynasty of Egyptian and Babylonian Kings, out of which our present rulers are said to have descended from.”
Firstly I do not think that knowledge is something to be frightened of so why is it that the Serpent is considered evil by Christianity? Secondly:- In the West we generally elect our rulers in a democratic process; are you implying that we are being manipulated and it does not matter whether we elect a Labour or Conservative P.M. we are going to end being pushed into a world Government because of power behind the scenes?
You next point
“You asked what the "Great Work" is. IMO, the "Great Work of the Ages" is to establish a worldwide government, coupled with a worldwide humanitarian religion based on the goals of science. In my view, this is a trap designed to imprison mankind in the world of matter with no hope of salvation because it's my belief that mankind was destined to rise above matter and be guided by the spirit, a concept that science denies”
I have come across the W.W. Gov before but it has always been a bit more sinister more about power and control of the masses without any room for humanitarian goals. I suppose you have read David Ike on that subject? IMHO he is a little extreme but you can’t throw the baby out with the bath water. I have to admit though that I like the idea of mankind leaving behind our corporeal beings and being pure matter (very Star Trek :-)). It has appealed to me for some years but I also think that we need to deserve it in a karma kind of way. However, I am not so sure that you can rule out science and the esoteric because at some point they meet up. It is those who are running the science projects that may prevent that. I love physics and astronomy and I think that we are just at the tip of the iceberg with discoveries e.g. String Theory leaves a lot of room for dimensions and “thought” matter although I am no expert. I know several physicists who are deeply religious/esoteric because they are so in awe of the universe. Sorry all that was a little deep.
One last question - if the “Lucifers” want us to stay on the material level then they must know that we can be something else. By combating it they are acknowledging it. But why? Wouldn’t it be nice to be a being of thought and spirit? Why are they so scared of it? Does it come down to power again?
Warm regards
Smetters
P.S. Have you read Cracking the Apocalypse Code? Can’t remember the authors – not good with names.
