There is a universal law which states that everything has an equal opposite.
Love has it's opposite, hate.
Light has its opposite, darkness.
Something as opposed to nothing.
Etc. etc. etc.
This law explains why good cannot exist without bad.
It is said that such things are opposites of the same coin.
How after all could you consider yourself as good if there is no possibility of being bad? It would be hard to define good in a world without bad, wouldn't you agree? If the concept or reality of bad is unknown how could you define or measure good? If good was the only reality or option it would not be good but simply normal.
How then would we apply this principle to GOD?
Does this mean that God has an equally powerful opposite in satan?
Then this would make satan more powerful and significant than we have been led to believe.
Or is God made up of equal amounts of good and bad?
What are your thoughts on this? Theoretically speaking of course.
For if the law of equal and opposites is indeed universal, then God if described as good cannot exist without an equal opposite unGod who is bad.
