Dane, if these fragmented major religions of the world, such as Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Jainism, and like, would just put aside their sectarianism for a while, we would easily find out that we have turned ancient truths into jigsaw puzzles, each one of which just knows in part. If we would be brave enough to puts the parts together, we might come up with a realistic appreciation of what ancient religion was like. Humpty Dumpty must be put back together again!
If we could go back to Jesus' time, I'm certain we'd find out that the Sabha-yanas (every religion on earth) felt connected to India in some way. The Koran and ancient Islamic texts talk about this India connection.
Here's just one example of what I'm talking about. According to the Moslems, when Adam and Eve were chased out of Eden, Eve went to Jiddah, Arabia, and Adam went to Serendipity (Seren-Dvipa) which is the country we now call Sri Lanka. Why did he go to Serendipity? According to what I have studied, there was a long chain of low-lying islands almost circling the world at that time. However, as in the case of the Maldives (ancient Mala-Dwipa), they probably extended almost to Madagascar. In time, they just wore down to nothing. Scientists say that the Maldive Republic will be under the sea in 50 more years. Not only was circling the world from Serendipity just a matter of island hopping in those days, but the trade winds go in an east-west (tala and atala) direction. Adam became a wanderer after his arrival in Serendipity. It was probably from Serendipity that the progeny of Adam colonized most of the world. Adam and Eve were probably clans of the same tribe, who went in different directions.
Also, according to the Koran, Goliath was riding on an elephant when David killed him. This means to me that the David and Goliath story took place in India.
All of us broke into pieces from the same source - ancient Hinduism.
