Hi Gene
I thought that Christianity evolved from Bhuddism. It seems that some of the stories and parables found in Christianity are taken from Bhuddism.Examples;Parable of the Mustard Seed, story of the Prodigal Son,the Sermon on the Mount and the Temptation in the Desert by Evil.Bhuddism was believe by some to have spread into the Middle East 2 to 3 hundred years before the birth of Christ.Buddism presents the idea of Bodhisattvas.Bodhisattvas are people who have attained enlightenment and therefore are no longer required to reincarnate. They choose to return to Earth in body to help others into enlightenment.Jesus, by Bhuddist, is believed to be a Bodhisattva.
Thank you,dane
